The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) received a delegation from the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, headed by Shaikha Aseel bint Khalifa Al Khalifa. The delegation was welcomed by the Institute’s Director-General, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, and members of the Executive Team.

Shaikha Aseel bint Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed that the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is committed to continue facilitating higher education opportunities for Bahraini youth, noting that expanding joint cooperation with BIBF is an important step in this direction.

During the meeting,  the delegation toured the facility and was introduced to the various training and academic programs offered by the institute. The advanced level of electronic facilities was showcased including the interactive classes, scientific laboratories, the grand lecture hall, as well as the trading hall, which is the first of its kind in the region and offers students and trainees a real simulation of financial markets and stock exchange settings.

The two sides discussed ways of cooperation in the field of training and development especially in the fields of digital transformation, project management, leadership skills, and financial technology.

Shaikha Aseel highlighted the advanced level of the institute’s training programs and the international, academic, and professional experiences of the educational and executive staff, in addition to the institute’s internationally accredited programs recognized by the Higher Education Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For his part, the Director General of the BIBF Institute, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, stressed the Institute’s pride in developing bilateral cooperation with various national institutions in a way that contributes to achieving Bahrain’s economic vision 2030 by providing programs and expertise to support the development of Bahraini youth to prepare them for entering the labor market.

The Trust’s Secretary-General Dr. Mona Al Balooshi was in attendance.
