The General Secretariat of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust signed a diamond partnership agreement with Bahrain and Kuwait Bank (BBK), as part of efforts to develop and strengthen the existing partnership between the two sides and support the trust’s educational programmes aimed at providing quality educational opportunities for the people of the Kingdom.

Ali Habib Qassim, member of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charitable Educational Trust, said the trust, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Trust, is committed to supporting national talent and expanding educational opportunities. He said the partnership reflects cooperation with the private sector in supporting educational initiatives that help prepare Bahraini competencies and support the Kingdom’s competitiveness.

He added that investing in people is a priority for achieving sustainable development, highlighting the role of the private sector in supporting educational and community initiatives.

Mohammed Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Strategy and Transformation at BBK, said the partnership is part of the bank’s strategy to support the trust’s initiatives, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility and to supporting initiatives that create a sustainable community impact.

He noted that BBK continues to direct its social responsibility programmes towards vital sectors, particularly education, due to its key role in supporting economic and social development.

Al Alawi added that cooperation with the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust reflects the bank’s approach to building effective partnerships that provide quality opportunities for Bahraini students and support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development efforts.

Mashael Al Qutami, Acting Secretary-General and Director of Student Affairs and Educational Institutions at the trust, said the trust, established in memory of the late His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, continues to support Bahraini students and provide educational opportunities in cooperation with private sector partners, contributing to human capital development and supporting progress and prosperity in the Kingdom.
